This birdie is taking the leap and leaving the nest- bluebird counseling services is hiring!

Alex opened Bluebird Counseling Services in July 2022 as a response to the demand for therapy services for students, families, educators, and first responders she was seeing working as a school social worker. If you are interested in joining her, she is looking to build a 100% remote telehealth practice (for now) of  licensed and pre-licensed clinicians. Bluebird Counseling Services is based out of Naperville, IL- but our therapists can be located anywhere in the state of Illinois! 

Weekly supervision, monthly consultation and collaborative support is offered to all therapists. Local therapists will get together for in person community and support among the team, and social gatherings or lunch outings at least quarterly. Out of towners are also welcomed to partake

We are hiring for part time and full time opportunities paid as a W2 employee. We offer competitive rates and are upfront about what we pay. There will be a small monthly fee taken for overhead costs such as billing, telehealth software, psychology today page, etc. We offer a flexible schedule where clinicians are able to set their own hours and see as many or few clients as they would like. 

We offer administrative support for insurance, billing, and credentialing. There are many opportunities to develop your preferred therapeutic niche and population and no pressure to take a client that “doesn’t fit” your style. 

We have active referral sources and opportunities to attend marketing events if desired. All marketing, Google Ads, SEO, etc. will be taken care of and we will help to create a Psychology Today page that makes you sound approachable and stand out.

Candidates Must:

• Be clinically licensed or license-eligible in Illinois (LPC/LCPC, MFT/LMFT, or /LSW/LCSW)

• Have at least 2 years of experience in the mental health field.

• Be trained in and have a strong interest to work with clients through a holistic and multi-systemic lens.

• Be paneled or agree to be paneled with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, Cigna/Evernorth Behavioral Health and United Healthcare/Optum.

• Ideal candidates are kind-hearted, clinically passionate, open- minded, and drama-aversive. If you are ready to not be micromanaged, create your ideal schedule,  be paid your true worth, and be treated like the expert you are, go ahead and apply!
