Alexandria Gohla, or Alex, is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in supporting adults and adolescents facing trauma, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health challenges, and chronic mental illness. With a strong foundation in aiding children with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral concerns, along with providing support to their families, Alex brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her practice.
Her educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Supervision from National Lewis University. This diverse background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and effective therapeutic techniques.
Alex's therapeutic approach is rooted in strength-based and person-centered perspectives, integrating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed yoga therapy, somatic processing, and mindfulness practices to empower her clients to reach their full potential. Outside of her work at Bluebird Counseling Services, Alex served as a school social worker. In her leisure time, she enjoys engaging in triathlons, practicing yoga, indulging in a good read, honing her coffee-making skills, and cherishing moments with her family and beloved dogs. Alex is 200 hour yoga certified and is working towards a trauma yoga therapy certicicate.

Lucy Gohla

Lucy passed her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy Tests) in April of 2023.
Lucy is a 12 year old Victorian Bulldog with a huge personality and a big heart. This sassy girl is able to join clients in person on walk-and-talk sessions now that she is certified. (Although she has been seeing clients via telehealth since the practice opened- her snores often provide a great sound machine on telehealth calls) Lucy will be working at local hospitals. Lucy is hoping to join Alex for in person Somatic Processing sessions as well as participate in a school therapy dog program at a local school.
Kristina Flinn

Kristina Flinn is a compassionate Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. With a Master's Degree in Social Work from Aurora University, she gained experience in trauma through Child Welfare and later transitioned to education, where she supported diverse student populations, families, and educators.
Throughout her career, Kristina has empowered clients with resources, education, and emotional support, addressing a range of issues including ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and trauma.
Her therapeutic approach is Person-Centered and Solution-Focused, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. She particularly enjoys working with couples and families, bringing her expertise to strengthen their bonds and resolve conflicts. Her commitment to continuous learning and growth, coupled with her hands-on experience and compassionate approach, make her a valuable asset to the Bluebird Team. She is passionate about approaching each individual with a Strength-Based perspective, recognizing their inherent strengths and resilience.
Outside of work, Kristina enjoys reading, spending time with family, and serving as a children and youth leader at her local church. She believes in the power of collaboration and is eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she works with. Kristina is in the process of obtaining her full LCSW licensure, with the state exam scheduled for early 2025.
Kelli Majka
MA, LPC (Pendinng)

Kelli is a licensed school counselor and provisionally licensed professional counselor with a diverse background in education and counseling. She has had the privilege of supporting students of all ages, from elementary school through college, in a variety of settings. Over the years, Kelli has worked within two elementary school districts, a local high school district, and two community colleges. She has also advocated for families facing housing instability throughout the Will County public school system. Kelli is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, stress management, life transitions, communication skills, and academic struggles.
Kelli earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Francis in 2006 and her Master of Arts in School Guidance from Lewis University in 2008. She recently returned to Lewis University to complete the coursework required for her LPC, a long-standing professional goal.
Kelli’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, CBT, active listening, mindfulness, and coping skills development. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and helping them create a clear plan to reach their goals.
When she’s not working, Kelli enjoys experiencing live comedy, both as a spectator and a participant. She believes humor is an essential part of balancing life’s struggles. Kelli also treasures spending time at home with her teenage daughters, playing board and card games.

Joslin Morquecho

Joslin Morquecho, is a licensed social worker dedicated to helping individuals of all ages navigate life's challenges. With a Master of Social Work (LSW, MSW) degree from Aurora University, completed in 2022, along with prior studies in Public Health at Northern Illinois University and an Associates in Science from Waubonsee Community College, her educational journey reflects a commitment to learning and providing effective support.

Her aim is to empower individuals to overcome their challenges and achieve their personal goals. Her diverse professional experience ranges from internships in residential substance abuse facilities and schools to her current role as an elementary school social worker, supporting students in grades pre-K through 5th.

However, her career has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences, from assisting older adults as a Behavioral Health Case Manager to aiding individuals with intellectual disabilities at organizations like Bethshan Association. She also has experience working with domestic violence counseling and crisis intervention, where she is able to employ various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. She is committed to staying up-to-date with new therapy methods to better serve her clients, always placing their needs at the forefront of her practice. Her services cater to adults and adolescents aged 12 and above, particularly those dealing with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, and domestic violence issues.

Bekka Santoyo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field. Specializing in working with teens and adolescents, particularly those navigating mood disorders, school challenges, and major life transitions, Bekka understands the unique pressures young people face. The focus is on helping clients build resilience and develop effective coping strategies to manage life's ups and downs.
With experience across a variety of settings, including schools, residential treatment centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and early intervention programs, Bekka takes a well-rounded approach to therapy. Currently working as a school social worker, the focus is on understanding the full picture of each individual, including emotional, social, and environmental factors that influence mental health.
Therapy is approached with compassion, collaboration, and a client-centered, holistic approach.
